Belated Birthday Post

So of course with all my birthday money I wanted to buy baby things. I promised myself I wouldn't do that but when it comes right down to it, I'm pratical and it is overwhelming to think of the huge list of all the things you have to buy for a first baby and time is running out. Ed and I spent my birthday weekend registering for baby things. He found and liked this stroller and car seat. I really liked it too but my first thought was that it was too female gender oriented and if we ever have a boy, it wouldn't go. Ed didn't agree and said by the time the second one comes around, you don't care too much and so we ended up getting it. The photos are ones from a Craiglist posting but ours is the same model. I love it more and more! PS... I wasn't practical with ALL my birthday $$, I did get some new clothes for me too!

I like it. I've always wanted to by gender strollers and car seats. I love the fabrics, so cute. It seems that we never go splurgy on those things, but I always wish we did.
You guys are on the ball I remember wanting to by all our baby things early but Evan was always against it saying that we should wait until the baby comes...Hello? I had to talk him into changing that.

That's a nice stroller. We had one similar to that when Aaron was born. The carseat finally expired last year, but we were done so it didn't matter. :) I wish we lived closer because we are getting rid of all of our baby stuff and are having the hardest time with it (surprizingly enough). So good luck and let me know what kind of crib you get (I love cribs!!) Hope you had a great bday!! Laura

Laura, funny you should ask about what crib we are getting. I will have to post photos when we get it but I have convinced Ed to let me work part-time at Pottery Barn for a month or two because I have always wanted to get their Larkin Sleigh Crib and changing table. Even I cannot imagine paying full price for it.

Yeah! I love that stroller. I got that one for Kate and it is adorable! I thought it was too cute to pass up. I got it before I knew I was having a girl. You will love it.

Fun stroller and don't even talk to me about Pottery Barn! A girl could seriously lose a husband because of that store...your so lucky to work there, even if your on your feet-take care of yourself!

Love the stroller! Does that mean I have to be shopping for baby things too? It's funny how after every baby you realize what you really need and what you never used. I'll probaby wait to buy anything until a month before the baby comes. But the kids are already talking about all the baby assessories around the house. Can you beleive they are excited to see sippy cups back in our cupboards?
